Started very young running equipment for a local contractor based out of Okotoks. We were doing acreage development, land clearing, road building and everything in between. Moved into running larger equipment in crushing/aggregate operations and open pit mining. Then found myself being drawn to the oil patch building leases and facilities. With that transition, we also did remediation/reclamation, large scale demolition, pipeline installation/repair/abandonment, heavy civil construction and a lot of specialized tasks such as sheet pile installation, river rehabilitation and spill clean ups throughout Canada. Missing home I returned to the Foothills and started contracting to larger companies in the area doing earthworks and construction projects and continue that now.
